Desert Flowers II

40.6cm x 55.9cm

Topsy portrays the native flora blossoming across the Australian desert, particularly post-rainfall or during cooler seasons. The painting is a burst of colour, with dots of red, yellow, blue, and white that represent the diverse flowers, some edible like the kalin-kalinpa (honey grevillea).

These blooms are more than just visual delights; they're symbols of nature’s cycles, indicating the presence of bush food or the onset of seasons.
