The Lirru (Snake) people lived there in the Tjukurrpa. A Warnampi man came from the south to the Lirru people and ask them for help to heal his sick son. The Lirru people helped him, by giving him something for him to take with him to heal his son. In return the Warnampi man gave them nectar as a thank you gift - the Karlinkarlinpa (bushy tree honey grevillea) and Yurltukunpa (talk tree honey grevillea).
