Around that place are \u003cem\u003ekaru\u003c\/em\u003e (creeks), \u003cem\u003epuli\u003c\/em\u003e (rocky mountains) and \u003cem\u003etali\u003c\/em\u003e (sandhills). When there are clouds in the sky, the landscape is patterned with shadows.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe story at this place is \u003cem\u003eNyinga Tjukurrpa\u003c\/em\u003e, ice dreaming. This story comes from the south, lots of men and two ladies. Joy learnt this story from her grandmother and mother, Warakurna artist Nanacy Nyanyana Jackson. Joy depicts the women sitting down near the waterhole, surrounded by the natural features of the landscape. She favours harmonious colours and often builds up layers in her works by laying out the composition with brushes, before adding features with \u003cem\u003epunu\u003c\/em\u003e (wooden stick application).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\"I used to go there for honey ants and goannas, My mother would take me, my sister and brother.
