In Irriya, Nola Bennett uses bold colors and detailed dot work to map the landscape around Irriya rockholes, a place central to storytelling and bush survival.

The painting reflects a moment of exploration where two men sit at the rockhole, observing and sharing stories about the place.

Nola's pallette mirrors the life and beauty that emerges in the bush after rain.
