Minyma Kutjara

This story is called Minyma Kutjara, or Two Sisters. It tells the story of two sisters travelling through the desert. As they travelled, their actions created landmarks such as rock holes and mountain ranges, forging a record of their travels across the land.

Bonnie depicts these women at a place close to Kaltukatjara, where they travelled through a gap in the mountains. Bonnie uses a dry brush to apply colour in travelling formations across the canvas, evoking the textured desert landscape where she has spent her life.

All artworks are sold unstretched.   

All works are shipped insured, tracked and express through TNT or Australia Post. Please be mindful of our remote location when awaiting your purchase, all freight leaves our communities on the once-weekly mail plane.

Due to the nature of art centre operations, with artists being paid directly from each sale, we cannot return, exchange or refund orders for a change of mind. If there is physical damage to your artwork, we will refund the purchase. Please contact us within 10 days of receipt.
