Selina has drawn on her experience as a ranger to depict different ways of caring for country. She explains that this work depicts ngura (country), and different patterns and colours across the canvas represent the old peoples' pre-contact ways of caring for country, while other sections depict how Anangu (Aboriginal people) have developed new methods for how to access and maintain the land, given the new circumstances and tools at their disposal.
