Growing up in Tjukurla as a child, this is her fathers country. She depicts ladies travelling around country, collecting bushfoods, the songs and dances of women in this area. She has been painting for many years, part of the first generation of women to paint with the Papunya Tula movement. She portrays these traditional stories with a bold and intuitive use of colour, compositionally balanced and sophisticated.
