Deborah grew up in Tjukurla and has spent time in Melbourne and other major cities painting. Deborah comes from a family of strong painters.
Her grandmother is Tjawina Porter and mother Elsa Young, both high-profile Tjarlirli painters and strong Ngaanyatjarra lore women.
